2. Data collected via the contact form

When you use the form on the Contact page, we collect the data you enter yourself: name, email address, phone number (optional), subject of the request and content of the message.

This data is used solely to respond to your request (booking, information, seminar quote, etc.). It is neither sold nor used for advertising purposes, nor shared with third parties other than the technical providers required to deliver your message (see point 4).

Legal basis: performance of pre-contractual measures taken at your request, or the hotel's legitimate interest in responding to enquiries addressed to it (Article 6.1.b and 6.1.f of the GDPR).

3. Retention period

Messages sent via the contact form are kept for a maximum of 3 years by our technical email provider (see point 4), unless deleted manually earlier. Once your request has been processed by our teams, the message is kept only for as long as necessary to follow up the business relationship.

4. Processors and third-party services

To operate this site, we rely on the following providers, each acting as a processor or independent controller for the data you transmit to them directly:

  • Web3Forms (delivering contact form messages to our email inbox) — a data processing agreement (DPA) governs this transfer, with standard contractual clauses for transfers outside the European Union. Web3Forms may share the message's IP address and email with anti-spam services (CleanTalk, Akismet) solely to filter out fraudulent messages.
  • Direct-Book (direct-book.com) — room booking engine; data entered during a booking is processed directly by Direct-Book in accordance with its own privacy policy.
  • Resmio (app.resmio.com) — table booking widget embedded on the Restaurant page.
  • Bonkdo (shop.bonkdo.com) — gift voucher sales platform.
  • Google Maps — map embedded on the Contact page; loading it may result in cookies being set by Google.

5. Language preference

This site remembers your preferred display language using your browser's local storage (localStorage), a technology similar to a cookie but strictly necessary for the site to function. No data is shared with any third party through this feature.

6. Your rights

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data. To exercise these rights, contact us at info@hotelbonhomme.be.
